Robert Floyd Powell Jr., a beloved son, brother, and friend, passed away on April 29, 2026, at the age of 30, in Pleasureville, Kentucky. Known for his vibrant spirit and determination, Robert’s life was a testament to courage, especially in his battle with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
Robert’s passing has left a deep void in the hearts of his family and friends. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Glenn Riggs and Sue Powell. He is survived by his parents, Robert Floyd "Robin" and Meleah Lynn Powell (Riggs), his sister Elizabeth Eddins, and his nieces and nephews, Ellie, Sawyer, and Colt Eddins. His family also includes his grandparents, Dolores "Dee" Hahn and Ray Powell, as well as his aunt Tracy Turner and uncle Rick Powell.
In his memory, contributions can be made to Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy, a cause close to Robert's heart. The funeral arrangements are under the care of Sholar Funeral Home.
