Matthew Clendenin, Beloved Family Member and Cherished Friend, Passes Away at Age 30 in Ann Arbor, MI
Matthew Clendenin peacefully passed away on April 28, 2026, at the age of 30, leaving family, friends, and the Ann Arbor community deeply saddened.
Known for his warmth and generosity, Matthew touched the lives of many through his work and personal relationships, creating memories that will be cherished forever.
He is survived by his wife Paige Clendenin, his parents Joel and Lori Clendenin, his brothers Tim and Andrew, his nephew Julian Hanosh, and close friends including Brianna VanSickle.
Social media posts have been filled with heartfelt condolences, with one friend writing, "Matthew's kindness and spirit will always be remembered," and another adding, "He brought so much light into our lives. We will never forget him."
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, May 14th, 2026, from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the Nie Family Funeral Home, Liberty Road Chapel in Ann Arbor, MI.
In lieu of flowers, the family has encouraged donations to the Huron Valley Humane Society or the Morris Animal Foundation, honoring Matthew's love for helping others and animals.
